DNA Chip is soldered on a professional
made circuit board which provides the connection to all Parts (Batterie
holder, buttons, charging board, LEDs ...)
The PCB (printed circuit board) has
shortcut protection and also a reverse polarity protection with red LEDs
who light up if batteries are put in with wrong polarity.
PCB has a build in charging electronics
with micro-USB connector and a charging power of 1000mAh ! (we dont use a
out of the box charging board!)
Fire LEDs have a seperate switch to turn off the "Lightshow"
Front and Backplate of the box are 14.301 stainless steel lasercutted and laserengraved with a brushed surface finish.
Side and Bottom grids are steel sheets with black paint.
Fire Button life time is 100000 cycles (manufacturer specification)
+/- buttons lifetime is 100000 Operations (manufacturer specification)

The mod has large capacitor inside, which is for saving the battery power and enhancing their lifetime. It was a hint by the Maker of Swabia 1337 (german DNA mod)
DBM30 is powered by a DNA30 chip from evolve (specifications of the chip: [Links nur für Registrierte])
To remove the batteries there are 4 hand screws. You won't need tools to open the box (only remove one plate at a time, never remove both plates!).
The case is made out of an external Harddrive box. In DBM30 v2 only
the side grids, screws and the transparent connectors are reused from
the external Hard drive case.

You can choose out of 3 color options for the Fire-LEDs !
Batteries are not included! The DBM30 uses 2 18650 Batteries (Li-Io)
I recommend Batteries that minimum can provide a constant current of 6
Amper each.
DBM30 has a built in micro-USB charging electronics (1000mAh) with pass thru capabilities, but you can also charge the batteries with an external charger.
With the DNA30 chip inside, sub ohm vaping down to .5 Ohms will be no problem! (look at specs [Links nur für Registrierte]) Rip Tripper was able to vape on this chip also down to .3 Ohms!
The Mod has a DNA30 board with a rating of 30 Watts ... thats a lot for most of you I think!
Please keep in mind, this is not going to be a perfect commercial product! It is a hand made Mod, be careful with it. If you touch the circuit board with metal tools, it will destroy the chip! Be careful with the Batteries which should be used in this mod, they are realy powerful and if you create a short inside the Mod, it could get dangerous!
I try to avoid using glue in this mod and there are also almost no screws inside the Mod! This makes it easier to disassamble the mod and also change parts.
